Tasks

To-dos allow you to get an overview of all kinds of things that need to be arranged in your company on a given day. In this way, you ensure that everything required is carried out before, during and after a guest's stay. You can also easily plan periodic tasks for on-site maintenance of Rentals and Facilities for internal and external Employees.

The Booking Experts tasks can be deployed and automated in various ways. Below, we outline an example per task of how to use them, of course you will get more information in the accompanying article!

One-off tasks

A one-off task can be created from the task overview and need not have a direct relationship with, for example, a Reservation.

Repairing a door handle is not something that happens often and has no direct relation to the Reservation, because if the Reservation is moved, the door handle still needs to be repaired. One-off tasks solve this problem. Want to read more about one-off tasks? Click here.

Automatic tasks

With automatic tasks you can automate various processes within your company, after creating the automatic tasks, the system will create tasks based on the settings. This can be done at different levels.

For reservations at type and guest group level

A major cleaning on departure, this is linked to the Reservation and the object in which the guest stayed. Want to know more? Click here.

For reservations at cost level

Preparation of the number of towel packages purchased for the Reservation, this has been explicitly chosen by the guest and is linked to the corresponding cost item purchased in the order. Want to know more? Click here.

For Rentals

Flushing the pipes or refreshing an object if it has not been occupied for more than x number of days. This is linked to the object and has no further relation to a Reservation, want to know more? Click here.

For Facilities

These can be tasks that need to be done every day, such as cleaning the pool changing rooms, or tasks that need to be done periodically, such as mowing the grass around the reception every week. Want to know more? Click here.

For periodic (Owners) costs

As a park, do you take care of the green areas of all Rentals, including those of (private) Owners? Or only when this is paid for? When this is paid for, it takes the form of a periodic cost and when this is taken, it can be scheduled as a task just like a regular cost. Want to know more? Click here.
