Owner permissions Make reservations and Reservation outside price period
The owner permission 'Make reservations' allows owners to book a stay at their own object, for their own use. They can do this in their owner's portal.
Such a booking for own use is different from a booking that is made via the promotion link that an owner can share with others.
If 'Make reservations' has been ticked in the owner profile, it will also become possible to assign the permission 'Make a reservation outside regular priced periods'.
Reservation outside regular priced periods
This additional permission is only available if 'Make reservations' has been ticked first. By ticking 'Make a reservation outside regular priced periods' you can allow an owner to make a reservation for their own use through the owner's portal, even if the dates of their stay do not yet have an active price list.
This allows an owner to always be able to book their own object, also for dates far into the future.
Note: This is only possible if the applicable agreement states that the owner always receives 100% discount on their rent.
If the owner does not receive a 100% discount, a rent amount must be charged, which is not possible for dates that do not have an active price list.
Assigning owner permissions
Assigning these permissions is only possible through an owner profile. When creating or editing an owner's agreement, you can add an owner profile to make it effective for that owner.
