Making a reservation in the back office

In the back office, you can make a reservation by clicking on the + Reservation button. There you choose the desired filters. Then click on View behind the desired line. A trial calculation will then appear on the right, made on the basis of the filters you set.

Tip: by using the filter for the channel, you can see what the price would be if someone booked via another channel. For example, you can check whether prices are the same with tour operators.

Finally, click the green Book button at the bottom right. This will take you to the reservation screen. Here you fill in all the information. On the right-hand side you will immediately see the trial calculation, which will change if you change the dates or add extra people.

Fill in all name and address details and click on Add Reservation at the bottom. You will now enter the reservation screen. Making reservations via the Planboard

You can also make reservations via the Planboard. To do so, open the Planboard and enter the desired number of persons and any other filters. Then click the desired date and click Make Reservation. You will then be taken to the reservation form. Fill in all the information. On the right-hand side you will immediately see the sample calculation, which will change if you change the dates or add extra people.

Fill in all name and address details and click on Add Reservation at the bottom. You will now enter the reservation screen. Did you know that after entering the number of persons and selecting a period, you can immediately see the price for an object in the Planboard? If no price has been set for the period or if you have selected the wrong arrival or departure day, you will be notified immediately.

Make a reservation from the accommodation calendar

You can also view the calendar per object. From there, you can also make a booking. This is useful if someone calls and insists on staying at a particular property. You can quickly see on which days the property is still available.

Just search for the property in question. To do so, use the search field in the top right-hand corner of your screen. The availability tab displays the calendar. Here you can add a new reservation by clicking on the date and then click New Reservation. You can then enter all guest information. On the right-hand side you can immediately see the trial calculation, which changes if you change the dates or add an extra person.

Making a reservation via the website

Via the search and book option, you can make a reservation. After making the reservation, the guest is taken to the thank you page. The guest also automatically receives a reservation confirmation. In Booking Experts, you can see that the reservation has been made. This is indicated by a red ball on the Reservations tab. When you click Reservations, the new reservation is shown in the overview. From here you can view the reservation by clicking the reservation number on the left.

Making a reservation for an owner in the back office

It is possible to make a reservation for an owner in the back office. You do this so that the reservation ends up on the right channel and so that the system keeps track of how many nights the owner himself has reserved.

Note: you can only do this if an owner is β€˜Active’.

To make a reservation for an owner, look up the owner in Booking Experts. To do this, use the search bar at the top of your screen. Then click the Reservation button in the back office at the property you wish to make a reservation for. Fill in the reservation form and click Add Reservation. The reservation is now made under the β€˜Owners’ channel.
